pillow-ing

It has been a long week.  Lots of non-fun stuff to do plus sick kids and I needed a small project.  If you follow me on Instagram (you can find me under ericajackman) you may have seen that I basted my queen sized Rocky Mountain Puzzle quilt a couple days ago.  I am not a fast quilter, especially with large quilts, so it will be a little while before it is finished.  In the mean time I thought I'd make a coordinating pillow for the guest bed.
I used some of the Fort Firefly fabric that was my inspiration for the quilt as well as my favorite Botanics print.
Fort Firefly Pillow
Until the guest room quilt is done, this size pillow (14"x28") fits perfectly on this chair in our family room.  I think another pillow this size is in my future :)
